Well, that was a fun night. We enjoyed everyone who was brave enough to step up to the mic and sing or play. There is a lot of talent in our little community and it is always a blast to see who comes out to the open mic nights.

As for us, we played a few songs that we only just recently learned. It was a little hair raising but we pulled through and our practice paid off. That’s right boys & girls, practice, practice, practice. It really does do wonders for your playing.

We also met a couple new faces from the local music community. It is always intriguing to hear other musicians’ perspectives on everything from playing techniques to gear. It is also encouraging to see how many people are picking up instruments with the brave intention of entertaining the masses. Performing is a very noble passion.

Next time we perform it will be November! The Turkey month! The holidays are upon us. See you next time.
