Well, it’s been a week since the last open mic. Had a little while to reflect. It was so pleasant to see people bobbing their heads to the rhythm when we played. We even saw a couple people singing along here and there. Even better was bobbing our heads later on to other people’s music.

There were several acts that played familiar pieces and I can say it is fun to bop along to nostalgia. I can only hope the audience is getting the same enjoyment from our renditions of songs out of the Great American Songbook.
